Writer, Producer, Director, Dramaturg, Environmental Activist.

Community and climate activism underpin all of Izabella's work.

Led by a strong commitment to environmental sustainability, Izabella brings her versatile experience as a creative across stage and screen to projects. She is most excited by projects where the division between disciplines breaks down, and elements intertwine to create something genre-defying.

Producing credits include the smash-hit sell-out season of Much Ado About Nothing presented at Flow Studios in 2022; an immersive production of The 39 Steps presented in a glamorous underground bar; and the 10th annual Alvin Ailey Day of Dance, a community-arts event by NJPAC.

As a writer, Izabella was a member of ATYP's 2021 National Writing Studio, and in 2022 was selected for national writing mentorship program Fresh Ink. Her play Fish Doof was published by Currency Press as a part of Intersection Bloom. She co-devised/wrote Stillwater a play with music which premiered Off-Broadway in 2019.

Izabella also has significant dramaturgy experience and recently dramaturged Harm's Way a script by Dr Annmaree Watharow on the hospital experiences of people living with dual sensory impairment. She went on to direct the film version of Harm's Way, which is currently in post-production.

Concerned by how harmful the theatre industry is on the environment, Izabella founded Blinking Light; a theatre company on Gadigal land, dedicated to creating bold works of theatre that build community, spread joy, and further the fight against climate change.
