Izabella is a published and produced writer for stage and screen.

With a background in devising (having trained with Tectonic Theater Project in new York) and sketch comedy, Izabella likes to write about serious stuff through a silly lens.

A comedy about climate change, Aussie politics, and young people, These Youths Be Protesting was one of three national finalists for the 2024 Martin Lysicrates Prize, and received it's world premiere season at KXT on Broadway in 2025.

FISH DOOF (published by Currency Press)
Written for ATYP's National Studio, FISH DOOF is a short play that follows a group of teens in far west New South Wales as they plan a fundraiser bush doof to save the polluted river running through their town. FISH DOOF premiered at the Rebel theatre in 2022 as a part of the Intersection Festival and is published by Currency Press in Intersection: Bloom.
